What is Photography?
“What is Photography?” was a campaign comprised of portraits and quotes from 81 artists, curators, theorists, and photo industry leaders created as partnership between B&H Photo, Hasselblad, Oliphant Studios, and the Penumbra Foundation. Working as co-producer alongside B&H Podcast producer John Harris, I sourced and photographed sitters as a weekly installment on B&H’s website. In all, the project consisted of dozens of features, a physical exhibition of prints in SoHo, an artist panel, multiple appearances on the B&H podcast, a YouTube video, and an artist talk at B&H’s OPTIC conference.
